Neverland

Since I can remember, I was rowing this boat, without a break, on this immense ocean, alone, thinking to myself, am I the only one here? Minutes passed, hours passed, days passed, years passed.. I’m still floating alone without a sense of a direction. Then i decided… what’s the point of this? I have to stop this meaningless search.. learn to enjoy what I have got around me.. I took my oar back in to the boat and decided to let the wave take me anywhere, somewhere. May be it will lead me in to the right direction..

Sun had set long time ago. Darkness all around me. I lay down in the boat and looked in to the night sky. How beautiful it was.. Why haven’t I seen this before? May be I saw this but I didn’t look. I was so busy searching something there was not. Time passed by and I started to feel a change inside of me. For the first time in my life, I slept peacefully thinking to myself, I’m not alone. I have the whole universe around me. It was there for me all along and it will be there for me, Always. I can feel, slowly i’m falling asleep..

I heard birds were singing.. It felt like a dream.. I slowly opened my eyes and I was amazed by what I saw. There were birds on my boat and they were spreading their wings and jumping and seems impatient. I thought they might trying to tell me something or show me something. I got up and looked around.. Then I couldn’t believe my eyes. I saw another boat, on the distance horizon, floating on the water and there was someone, waving at me. Looked like she was lost, same as me. I waved her back and started rowing towards her and I was humming my favourite song. Was I happy because I found someone? or I’m not alone anymore? or because she was alone?
